Fishing Show OSAKA2018 will be held in the largest international exhibition
hall, Intex Osaka, from February 2 – 4, 2018 (February 2 will be for
business meetings for traders). The organizer is Osaka Fishing Tackle
Cooperative Association.
It would be its 55th annual exhibition of Fishing Show OSAKA, an exhibition
that has long history. It has been held in the first weekend of February,
every year, and the new products of Japanese fishing gears that would be
launched in the year would be largely exhibited. There will also be many
prominent Japanese professional anglers coming to the exhibition, and
having some lectures on the stage.
The venue is Osaka, Japan. It is close to the famous tourist destination,
Kyoto. The exhibition venue, Intex Osaka is about 40 km from Kansai
International Airport(KIX), and it takes about an hour and half by train.
The Fishing Show OSAKA has been the largest fishing trade show in Japan
with its visitors over 50,000 last 8 years. The first day is for traders
only, and not open to the public. Not only Japanese traders, but also foreign
traders visit the Fishing Show, and their number is increasing every year.
The Fishing Show OSAKA2018 will have more exhibitors than last year. 181 fishing gear companies and organizations including Japanese renowned fishing gear manufacturers such as Daiwa, Shimano, Gamakatsu, Marukyu, Evergreen International, Owner, Hayabusa, and Sunline will be exhibiting. It is the best opportunity to know the trend of Japanese fishing.
During the Fishing Show, fishing gear shops in Osaka and Hyogo area will be
having sales as well. With many traders from all over Japan and overseas
countries visiting, there will be active business meetings at the Show.

Admissions: General public, 1400 yen (incl. tax), Advance Ticket: 1200 yen
(incl. tax). Junior high school and younger students and children are free.
